Friends of Kibera consistently needs, and graciously accepts all donations in any amount. Cash, check, or credit card is accepted, with a credit card donation link provided for your convenience below. Additionally, there is further information behind the impact your donation has below, as well as our mailing address for donations via cash or check.
Please see below for further information on the types of assistance your donation can provide:
$30 - For the equivalent of $1 per day, this donation amount provides complete educational support for one month for one woman.
$100 - Covers the cost of one business skills seminar for 10 women.
$200 - Provides the cost of a full first cycle microloan to one woman.
$360 - Provides complete educational support for one woman for an entire year.
$560 - Sustains one woman in all aspects for one full year. This amount covers her entire educational needs as well as her first microloan.
$1,080 - Provides a full three year educational scholarship for one woman, allowing her to complete the JKBAW program.
$1,680 - Provides three years of full support for one woman's education, as well as her business microloans.
$5,600 - Provides one full year's educational and microloan support for 10 women.
$14,000 - Provides full education and microlending support to one full class of 25 women for one year.
